Welcome to 2025! Though it has been quite a wild week back with the unexpected snow and cold this week, we have enjoyed welcoming students back for the second semester. Please see our school news below. Stay warm!

1/13- 1/15 6th g.  Mr. Steve's Crew Winter Voyage; 1/16- Day of Rest 
1/17/25: Winter Performance (9:00 4-6th grades, 9:45 K-3rd grades)
1/20/25: MLK holiday- No school
1/21- 1/23: Ms. JoAnna's Crew Winter Voyage; 1/24- Day of Rest

4th Grade & Kindie-
Fourth grade and kindie buddies created New Year's resolutions to blast off into the new year!


Mr. Doug- PE:
There is a great opportunity for your student to participate in an Official Sport Stacking tournament here in Castle Rock on February 15th. 
Ms. Staci- Visual Arts:
Unique Cardboard Needed : I am seeking unique cardboard or paper packing materials for an upcoming "Cardboard Creatures" Visual Arts Unit. Corrugated Cardboard or cardboard with texture would help. Please send in with your student by 1/17/2025.


24-25 Yearbook-
Just a friendly reminder to purchase your 24-25 Yearbook on MySchoolBucks! The deadline to purchase a yearbook is March 5th.

Chick Fil A Spirit Night-
On January 14th, come on down and enjoy some Chick Fil A while supporting our school! Follow the directions on the flyer and make sure to give the appropriate code to the folks at Chick Fil A so your meal counts towards the fundraiser.

We are so excited to kick off a new school year together as Crew here at REMS NEWS from Ms. Trena: Dear Parents,  As we begin this 24-25 school year, know that our staff are dedicated and beyond excited to welcome your child and family to our crew. Important  Dates: NEW!  A Note from Ms. Trena: Dear REMS Parents,  It was a privilege to celebrate our Visual Arts students this week at R enaissance . We packed the house on Wednesday evening for our annual  REMS Art Walk.  I appreciated seeing so many families come out to celebrate our students and  the many talents of  Ms. Staci  in fostering  students'  creative passions!  I also hope that you all had the opportunity to go out and visit the  Legacy Campus  this week to see our student's artwork on display at the DCSD Art Show. Our students truly represented CREW in their reflective pieces of our core values!  Will P. won Best in Show for Grades 4th-6th Ollie R. won 3rd place for Grades K-3rd Olivia S. received an Honorable Mention for Grades K-3rd  National Archery Shoutouts: Beau B. and Khaison B. competed in the National Archery Tournament in Utah last weekend.
