NEW! A Note from Ms. Trena:

Dear REMS Families,

Again, I wanted to express our humble gratitude to our Douglas County Voters for their support in passing the Mill Levy override (5A).  This will bring much needed funding to our teachers and support staff in offering them competitive salaries that are of fair market value as well as attracting new teachers to the profession.  The bond will also ensure safety and security measures are increased and maintained over time with the addition of Security staff at our elementary, offering more School Resource Officers in our feeder schools, and maintaining security cameras and radios. Thank you for investing in REMS!

Congratulations to Officer Troy Stembel, who was honored by our feeder principals this week! He is celebrating 25 years with the Castle Rock Police Department and in serving our schools We love Officer Troy! (Puppy not included.)

NEW! News from our Crews:

Congratulations to Hudson B. from 5th grade as the "Overall Winner" at the Youth Artists Colorado Flag Contest. The 2023 theme to recreate the flag was "Dream in Art." Huddy's flag was the first Elementary flag ever to be selected as the overall flag, beating out high school and middle school artwork. Huddy's artwork will be made into a full size flag and flown at the National Art Educators Conference in March to represent all of Colorado. Way to go Huddy!
