Getting our laps in at today's RAD Day Fun Run.

News from Ms. Trena:

Dear REMS Families,

We had such an amazing week representing crew across Renaissance!

Kudos to our awesome students who showcased their amazing talents at our annual Talent Show!  Thank you to Ms. Liesl for organizing and selecting such talent this year!

We had a BLAST at RAD today and with the help of all of our community we've raised over $40,000 and the donations continue to come in!  You can still donate through next week on Mybooster.com.  Our students ran their hearts out the Fun Run, showed stewardship in their letters to grandparents, got curious about new books in the read-a thon, and tested their Adventure Ed skills today.  You should be so proud of their hard work. Many thanks to our tireless volunteers and our RAD chairs: Ms. Robyn Swinford and Ms. Cheryl Johnson.

Many thanks to our families, students, and staff for their efforts to support fundraising at REMS.  We hope to purchase a shade structure for the OLE, some soccer goals for the playground and continue to support our Expeditionary Learning programming with professional development for teachers.

We sincerely appreciate the REMS' community for championing our school and for sharing your children with us.  Have a safe and adventurous Fall Break!

In Crew,

Ms. Trena

News from Our Crews:

1st Grade Crews:
Last Friday 1st grade went to Castlewood Canyon for a day voyage. We worked together to solve team building initiatives and went on a long hike. With the warm temperatures, we even got to enjoy a little time to play in the water. All of the first graders were able to get out of their comfort zone at one time or another on our voyage.

Ms. Lauren- 3rd Grade:
Mr. Steve’s Crew helped teach 3rd graders how to insert and resize images in Google Docs during Buddy Time.

News from Parent Crew:

Jackets, Gloves, and Water Bottles, Oh My!
Our Lost and Found rack in the school entry is overflowing with odds and ends again! Please take a few moments to look through all the sweatshirts, hats, and water bottles. Claim any items that belong to you before RAD. All items will be donated during Fall Break.

Log Your Hours
Remember to log your hours in Track it Forward this week, especially if you are helping us bring RAD to life on Friday!
