A Request from Our Crew: 


As a community we want to focus on stewardship with our students.  Parents, we would appreciate having some dinner table discussions on what stewardship looks like in action at home and a school.  In our classrooms, hallways, and in the cafe we are focusing on how to show integrity and stewardship in our actions and interactions with others.  This could be cleaning up our spaces after we finish a task, helping clean up the cafe, having kind and respectful interactions with others, etc... Having these conversations at home continually reinforces our efforts here at school in the spirit of Crew! Thank you for your continued support of our core values.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is quickly approaching! This event allows us to raise money to pour back into the school, including ongoing grants to the staff for materials and supplies, upcoming professional education opportunities, outdoor and adventure education gear, and more. We appreciate your continued support to this event!

Auction Wine Wall Donations Needed!

We have all sorts of fun planned for our auction! Such as the Wine Wall!

We need 100 bottles of wine for our wine-wall game. Please donate nice wines to our auction. These count for tax deductions, and volunteer hours! Bottles can be dropped off in the front office.

Climbing is one of the most important pieces of our adventure education program, but it doesn't happen without your support. Each day that our students climb, we need dozens of parent volunteers to make it safe and enjoyable for our crews! Sign up here to help.

Your Parent Crew Dollars at Work - 2023/24 Grants
This year, our Parent Crew Foundation, in collaboration with the School Accountability Committee, rolled out a new process for distributing funds to our amazing teachers & staff! The application process is robust, with funding criteria focused on:
- addressing the school's UIP (unified improvement plan)
- promoting a positive school culture
- supporting REMS' unique programming needs.
An added goal is to ensure accountability while encouraging transparency.
Our SAC has brought this program to new heights allowing us to support the school in a sustainable & effective manner! So far this year, $15,366.70 has been awarded through staff grants!! REMS is unique in this.
Through our parent community's generosity we are able to make a direct impact in the classroom and individual student groups! Thank you Crew!! Check out all the ways we've supported our school JUST IN THE FIRST SEMESTER!

Welcome Back Crew! We are so excited to kick off a new school year together as Crew here at REMS NEWS from Ms. Trena: Dear Parents,  As we begin this 24-25 school year, know that our staff are dedicated and beyond excited to welcome your child and family to our crew. Important  Dates: NEW!  A Note from Ms. Trena: Dear REMS Parents,  It was a privilege to celebrate our Visual Arts students this week at R enaissance . We packed the house on Wednesday evening for our annual  REMS Art Walk.  I appreciated seeing so many families come out to celebrate our students and  the many talents of  Ms. Staci  in fostering  students'  creative passions!  I also hope that you all had the opportunity to go out and visit the  Legacy Campus  this week to see our student's artwork on display at the DCSD Art Show. Our students truly represented CREW in their reflective pieces of our core values!  Will P. won Best in Show for Grades 4th-6th Ollie R. won 3rd place for Grades K-3rd Olivia S. received an Honorable Mention for Grades K-3rd  National Archery Shoutouts: Beau B. and Khaison B. competed in the National Archery Tournament in Utah last weekend.
