News from Ms. Sami's Crew:

Ms. Sami's 4th-grade Crew is continuing the tradition of the cereal box challenge for their BEAT on February 7. The cereal box challenge is a fun, worldwide challenge that represents a domino effect of cereal boxes and supports local food banks. Ms. Sami's Crew is asking each student and staff member to bring in an unopened box of cereal before Feb. 7th. Thank you!

Let's refuel our REMS Staff by restocking the Teachers Lounge with snacks, drinks, treats, and more! We would love it if you would help out to give the teachers a decked-out Lounge that fills their hearts and fuels their bodies! Sign-up to help out.

Our biggest fundraiser of the year is quickly approaching! This event allows us to raise money to pour back into the school, including ongoing grants to the staff for materials and supplies, upcoming professional education opportunities, outdoor and adventure education gear, and more. We appreciate your continued support to this event!

We have all sorts of fun planned for our auction! Such as the Wine Wall!

We need 100 bottles of wine for our wine-wall game. Please donate nice wines to our auction. These count for tax deductions, and volunteer hours! Bottles can be dropped off in the front office.

NEW! Community Involvement Opportunities:

The Foundation for Douglas County Schools is proud to support our DCSD Teachers with the second annual mid-year Lend A Hand School Supply Drive for Teachers
Our local communities have once again come together to support the school supply drive from January 1st through January 26, 2024. 
The Douglas County Libraries and Office Depot locations are the anchor donation sites for this year’s drive and have already received generous donations from the community. 

All DCSD Teachers are invited to the Grab&Go events on

Tuesday January 30th and Wednesday January 31st from 4pm to 6pm at the

Canvas Credit Union Community Room, 10000 Park Meadows Dr, LoneTree 80124. 


Donated classroom items will be available for pick up. Availability of popular items is always limited so please be aware that they go quickly!

Please share the Volunteer SignUp if possible. This drive is not possible without the amazing community support and our wonderful volunteers!
