NEW! News from RSS:  REMS will be participating in Wish Week with RSS April 25-28. Here is a list of the fun activities they have planned. NEW! News from our Crews: Congratulations to our 4th grade student  Hudson B.  for winning the Elementary DCSD Art Exhibition Poster Contest.  Huddy 's poster will be showcased at all of the elementary schools in DCSD. Ms. Abbie's Crew took a trip to the Castle Rock Water Treatment Plant. A Note from Ms. Staci: Come join us for the Art Walk! A Note from Ms. Monica: Save the date!  Monday, May 1st is National College Decision Day, the day when high school students around the country make their final decision on where they will attend college in the fall.  To celebrate at Renaissance, we will have a "wear your college gear" day on May 1st as we recognize post-secondary opportunities available to our students later on in their lives.  So get your college gear ready to wear, Crew! A Note from Ms. Trena: Coffee with the Principal: Mark your calendars!  NEXT Wed, April 19, 11:30am-12:15pm Our SAC crew is hosting a  Coffee with the Principal , in person at the school.  This is an opportunity to get to know our principal, learn more about initiatives going on at the school, and simply build the crew culture. NEW! A Note from Ms. Trena: As you may already be aware, DCSD will be pursuing another proposed Bond and Mill Levy Override in the November 2023 Election. By passing both proposals, we would receive much needed funding that directly impacts Renaissance. This funding would offer more competitive salaries for teachers and staff, promote the retention of our beloved teachers, offer increased security at our school and help to maintain our aging building. You will find valuable information regarding our funding challenges in DCSD and at REMS located here.
