A Note from Ms. Monica:

Save the date!  Monday, May 1st is National College Decision Day, the day when high school students around the country make their final decision on where they will attend college in the fall.  To celebrate at Renaissance, we will have a "wear your college gear" day on May 1st as we recognize post-secondary opportunities available to our students later on in their lives.  So get your college gear ready to wear, Crew!

A Note from Camelot (BASE):

Renaissance Before & After School Program

Our Camelot BASE program is accepting new students.  Enrollment is Free this year, and there are openings in all time slots - before & after school, Wed half days and full days during breaks.  Visit the Camelot BASE website for info about our program and to access the enrollment link.  You can also contact our BASE manager, Heidi Jergenson @ 303-489-4898, hkjergenson@dcsdk12.org.

Parent Crew Board Elections:

Thanks to everyone who has nominated themselves to be a candidate for the Parent Crew Board election! Our Parent Crew is invited to vote now through April 21st by using this form or the paper ballot available in the front office. 


Spirit Night at Code Ninjas:
Kiddos ages 7+ are invited to join us for a very special Parents Night Out, where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to our school on Saturday, April 15 from 4:30-6:30 pm! 
Sign up today for an evening of games and pizza for your kiddos, and child-free relaxation for yourself!

Spring Climbing:

Spring climbing starts on April 17th. We need trained belayers to come in and help belay our crews! Sign up here.  

OLE Spring Clean Up May 6th :
Mark your calendars as we will be having our spring cleanup out on the OLE May 6th. You bring the tools and we'll have the materials! Sign up here.

Showcase Volunteers Needed: May 10th and May 24th. 
What is Showcase? Our 3rd and 6th-grade crews have the opportunity to share their learning experiences with a panel of Staff/Parent Volunteers. This is a huge celebration for our students and a fantastic opportunity for you to get a look at the growth that takes place during their journey at REMS. Don't worry if you haven't done it before, you will be paired up with a staff member who can help you walk through the process and support these kiddos in sharing their stories. It is a fun, crew/community building opportunity that you do not want to miss out on! 2nd and 5th grade parents are especially encouraged to volunteer so you can see what your kids will be doing next year. Welcome Back Crew! We are so excited to kick off a new school year together as Crew here at REMS NEWS from Ms. Trena: Dear Parents,  As we begin this 24-25 school year, know that our staff are dedicated and beyond excited to welcome your child and family to our crew. Important  Dates: NEW!  A Note from Ms. Trena: Dear REMS Parents,  It was a privilege to celebrate our Visual Arts students this week at R enaissance . We packed the house on Wednesday evening for our annual  REMS Art Walk.  I appreciated seeing so many families come out to celebrate our students and  the many talents of  Ms. Staci  in fostering  students'  creative passions!  I also hope that you all had the opportunity to go out and visit the  Legacy Campus  this week to see our student's artwork on display at the DCSD Art Show. Our students truly represented CREW in their reflective pieces of our core values!  Will P. won Best in Show for Grades 4th-6th Ollie R. won 3rd place for Grades K-3rd Olivia S. received an Honorable Mention for Grades K-3rd  National Archery Shoutouts: Beau B. and Khaison B. competed in the National Archery Tournament in Utah last weekend.
