NEW! A Note from Ms. Trena:

Please welcome Mr. Zach Vine to our third grade crew! Mr. Zach has joined us in our 3rd grade crew as our new teacher to finish out the school year.  Zach comes to REMS with a diverse background in both classroom teaching and K-5 STEM education. He holds a masters degree in childhood education and has attended the Colorado Outward Bound School and National Outdoor Leadership School.

Please welcome back Ms. Jody Giggy.  Ms. Jody, a former REMS teacher, has committed to serving as a guest teacher temporarily until we have found a qualified candidate to replace Ms. Peggy.   Many thanks to Ms. Jody for her continued support for our students at REMS!

Bon Voyage to Ms. Peggy Bryson.  She will be moving to Utah with her husband to take over their family's business.  She will be greatly missed by our crews!

NEW! News from our Parent Crew

SAC/PARENT CREW HUDDLE

Ever have questions similar to:

"Where does all the fundraising money go?"
"I need a better idea on how REMS approaches classroom management; I even have suggestions. How do I go about that?"
"Why the need for volunteer hours?"
"How does REMS support the individual needs of such a diverse group of students?"
There is a good chance Parent Crew or SAC already has those answers, or has the established lines of communications to get the facts from the source.
Join us in our Virtual Parent Crew + SAC Huddle! Representatives from the Parent Crew Board and the School Accountability Committee will lead the huddle. You'll have a better understanding of the difference between the two, and how each group can support and help you with concerns and questions.
Date: Feb 28
Time: 6pm
Where: Zoom
