NEW! News from our Crews:
Notes from Ms. Trena:
Change of Enrollment for 2022-23
Please communicate to our Registrar, Ms. Rose O'Brien, and Administration if you have any change of plans for enrollment for the 2022-23 school year at REMS. If your family plan to transfer schools, please complete the necessary paperwork with us by Wednesday, June 1, 2022.
Class Lists for 2022-23
Teachers, Specialists and Administration will be creating class lists for the upcoming 2022-23 school year. We make many considerations such as academics, social/emotional needs, leadership, behavior, and personality of students and teachers to ensure proper placement. It is also a challenge to mix the kids up from year to year as we only have two classes of each grade level.
If you have programming needs (IEP, 504, GT, etc...) that you wish to bring to our attention, we ask that you email those to their teacher and myself. Please refrain from requesting a particular teacher and instead offer us specific information about your student that will help us with placement.
Class lists will be shared with families on July 15, 2022.
School Lunches for the 2022-23 School Year
Lunch accounts will resume charges for the 2022-23 school year. The waivers that were being provided by the USDA that made school meals free for all students are coming to an end. Families will need to purchase school meals in the 2022-2023 school year. We encourage all families to apply for the free/reduced lunch program. Please look for a flyer coming home with your students next week with more information.

NEW! News from the Parent Crew:
Water Bottles Back in Stock!
Stay hydrated as you head outdoors this summer and get a head-start on next year's voyage gear list with one of our Renaissance Nalgene bottles! Just $10 each and available for pick up in the office while supplies last.
Gear Swap is Coming Back!
We are bringing back the beloved tradition of gear swap for our kiddos next school year THE NIGHT OF THE BACK TO SCHOOL CARNIVAL! Friday August 19th.
We know gear can be expensive and kids grow fast! So we want to give every family an opportunity to get rid of that too small gear & grab some stuff that will fit for this years voyages.
HOW IT WORKS:
Bring your too small gear to school drop off the morning of Friday August 19th. We will spend the morning sorting through sizes and setting up the gear swap for Friday afternoon at the carnival. If you’d like to volunteer to help with this you can sign up here.
Friday afternoon gear swap will be set up at the school and you can come “shop” (everything will be free!) for your child’s size gear for this years voyages.
*Whatever is left over on Friday will be left for Ms. Trang to look through. We like to keep a few items at the school for kiddos who might forget to pack something on their voyage. All other gear will be donated to the Help & Hope Center.

Community Involvement Opportunities!:
Stone Canyon offers a wide variety of activities, and our dedicated staff is committed to ensuring your camper will learn new skills, make new friends, and be safe while at camp. Our goal is to create a community that will help campers become more confident and daring individuals, all while having the best time of their lives!
In the last year and a half, Stone Canyon has built a brand new ropes course and completed an expansion of our dining hall and kitchen. We are so excited for campers to experience them this summer.
