News from Our Crews:

Ms. Abbie's Crew hosted a wonderful Beat this week on sustainability. They are currently raising funds with an art project to benefit endangered species.

Cards are:

Full set (20 cards) for $25

Posters (Compilation of all 20 animals or individual animal)- $2 

Please email orders to Ms. Abbie (amassey@dscdk12.org) and Ms. Staci (steague@dcsdk12.org).  We will fill orders and send them home with your student.  Ms. Abbie's crew will also be selling their art one more time after school (date coming soon!).

Meet Ms. Monica!
Out of the many lessons learned about what’s important over the last few years we can all agree that advocating for and providing mental health resources for all of our children is at the top of the list.  Luckily for the Renaissance community we have Ms. Monica, our School Counselor, to jump in and help lead the charge to see to it that all children are cared for! Meet Ms. Nicole!

Nicole Goering is the school psychologist here at Renaissance, and has been serving the Douglas County School district for over 15 years. As a Colorado native, she has been deeply influenced by the mental health tragedies in our area and has committed herself to learning about and supporting people with mental health issues. Community Involvement Opportunities!:

Registration is now open for Stone Canyon Summer Camp! Both Overnight and Day Camps are accepting registrants.

 

Stone Canyon offers a wide variety of activities, and our dedicated staff is committed to ensuring your camper will learn new skills, make new friends, and be safe while at camp. Our goal is to create a community that will help campers become more confident and daring individuals, all while having the best time of their lives!

 

In the last year and a half, Stone Canyon has built a brand new ropes course and completed an expansion of our dining hall and kitchen. We are so excited for campers to experience them this summer. While we have made adjustments to our programming to follow national and local COVID mitigation guidelines, we aim to provide the same connection and adventure that make our summer camp special.

 

Session Dates

• Overnight Camp (Ages 9-15)
  • Session 1: June 12 - June 18
  • Session 2: June 19 - June 25
  • Session 3: June 26 - July 2
  • Session 4: July 3 - July 9
     
• Day Camp (Ages 6-9)
  • Session 1: July 11 - 15
  • Session 2: July 18 - 22
     

Cost

One week of Overnight Camp is $1,075, with a deposit of $325. One week of Day Camp is $435, with a deposit of $135.
