NEW! Note from Ms. Trena:

Dear REMS Families, 

The spirit of the season is certainly ringing throughout the halls of REMS this week!  We've had Sparkles, the Elf on the loose throughout the school spreading cheer and a little bit of mischief! Thank you to our Crew Parents for helping our teachers facilitate their holiday celebrations.  What a smashing success!

Our students also competed in the REMS Spelling Bee.  A huge congratulations to Wyatt Allmon for winning the Spelling Bee and moving on to the DCSD Spelling Bee! 

Thank you so much for showering our staff over the last week with treats, notes of gratitude and the Red Envelope! We are so incredibly grateful to have such a benevolent community supporting our teachers and staff.  We want to wish all of our families a wonderful holiday season and Winter Break!  May the holidays bring you joy, peace, and prosperity in the New Year.  

We will see on January 4, 2022.

Sources of Strength Community Night

January 24, 2022  6:30p.m.-8:30p.m. at PACE Center

You are invited to join us for a DCSD Sources of Strength Community Night featuring youth from across our district, adult advisors and keynote speaker, Scott LoMurray, Executive Director of Sources of Strength! This night will include an overview of the suicide prevention program and wellness model that is currently implemented in a majority of our middle and high schools across the district. We look forward to sharing the messages of Hope, Help and Strength with you and our community!

Übergrippen Indoor Climbing Crag has:

Climbing Classes for 9-14 year olds specifically for Renaissance from 1:30pm to 3:30pm on Weds. This 10-week program starting in January will teach kids about climbing safety, bouldering, top rope belaying, and other climbing techniques.

Important  Dates: NEW!  A Note from Ms. Trena: Dear REMS Parents,  It was a privilege to celebrate our Visual Arts students this week at R enaissance . We packed the house on Wednesday evening for our annual  REMS Art Walk.  I appreciated seeing so many families come out to celebrate our students and  the many talents of  Ms. Staci  in fostering  students'  creative passions!  I also hope that you all had the opportunity to go out and visit the  Legacy Campus  this week to see our student's artwork on display at the DCSD Art Show. Our students truly represented CREW in their reflective pieces of our core values!  Will P. won Best in Show for Grades 4th-6th Ollie R. won 3rd place for Grades K-3rd Olivia S. received an Honorable Mention for Grades K-3rd  National Archery Shoutouts: Beau B. and Khaison B. competed in the National Archery Tournament in Utah last weekend.
