4th Graders Cross Country Skiing on Winter Voyage

News from Our Crews:

1st Grade- Culture Expedition:
First grade has been working hard on our most recent expedition which studies families from other cultures. Each student has chosen a country to study and explored the food, clothing, art, and celebrations of that country. We also got to explore items from each place using culture kits from the district media center.



3rd Grade- Climate Expedition:
A guest speaker came to teach 3rd Grade Crews about water purification and the importance of conserving water.


Ms. Mikaela and Ms. Hillary- Buddies:
We worked with buddies this week to make a dragon craft for Lunar New Year!


4th Grade- Voyage:
Our 4th grade crews are back from winter voyage to Keystone Science School where they got to sled and cross country ski!

Ms. Ashley- Adventure Education:
We are having a great Winter Voyage season so far! 5th Grade begins their voyage next week at KSS.

Please note: We will NOT be hosting gear checks this season. Your child's gear should be packed exactly according to the gear list and brought with them on the day of departure. Don't forget to label EVERYTHING!

Our annual auction looks a little different this year so swing on by and score a hole in one at our event on April 25th, 2025, spend the evening with us to support REMS, your students, and the staff members we all love.


Gift Card Bonanza
That random gift card that's sitting unused in your junk drawer, at the bottom of your purse, in your car's center console, etc? It might be partially used, or from a business that isn't your favorite, or maybe you just forgot about it and it won't be missed. Participate in our school's Gift Card Bonanza, and donate it towards the school's auction! Your donation might be someone's treasure! We're building a supply of gift cards, to be used in the auction in a fun and rewarding way! Drop your cards off at the front office. Thank you!

Important  Dates: NEW!  A Note from Ms. Trena: Dear REMS Parents,  It was a privilege to celebrate our Visual Arts students this week at R enaissance . We packed the house on Wednesday evening for our annual  REMS Art Walk.  I appreciated seeing so many families come out to celebrate our students and  the many talents of  Ms. Staci  in fostering  students'  creative passions!  I also hope that you all had the opportunity to go out and visit the  Legacy Campus  this week to see our student's artwork on display at the DCSD Art Show. Our students truly represented CREW in their reflective pieces of our core values!  Will P. won Best in Show for Grades 4th-6th Ollie R. won 3rd place for Grades K-3rd Olivia S. received an Honorable Mention for Grades K-3rd  National Archery Shoutouts: Beau B. and Khaison B. competed in the National Archery Tournament in Utah last weekend. Climb Week continues in the gym! Thank you to all of our volunteers who have been belaying our climbers!
