News from Ms. Trena:

Dear REMS families,

What an amazing turnout we had today at our Winter beat performances!  I was so humbled and grateful for the community representation that showed up to celebrate our students.  Many thanks to Ms. Liesl for all of her hard work in coordinating and leading our students in both performances!  What a fabulous representation of Crew today!

Stay warm this weekend.

News from Our Crews:

Third Grade-
Third graders are looking at clues about their next science expedition! Do you have any guesses?

Ms. JoAnna: 6th Grade-
In science, our students dove into researching the natural resources of the United States, mapping out where these resources are found across the country. From forests to minerals, they explored the vital role these resources play in our daily lives.

To bring their maps to life, students used Sphero Bolt robots—amazing robots they coded to simulate the collection of natural resources! By creating color-coded paths and writing programs, the students navigated their Sphero Bolts across their detailed maps, mimicking how resources are gathered and moved.

This hands-on project ties to the Colorado 6th Grade Science Standards, exploring Earth’s systems, distribution of natural resources, and how technology and engineering can influence resource management and transportation.

We're so proud of the students' creativity and problem-solving skills as they explored the world of natural resources with robotics!

Ms. Sami: 4th Grade-
Ms. Sami's 4th Grade Crew is partnering with RSS to build connection and relationships with big buddies.
