News from Our Crews:

2nd Grade Crews:
2nd Graders doing an experiment to see how carbonation causes gas to fill up a balloon using pop rocks and soda!

4th Grade Crews:
The 4th Grade Crews held the first student Beat and shared about how to be a more sustainable school.

4th Grade and D4/5 Crews:
The Denver Audubon visited Discovery 4/5 and 4th grades this week! Students learned all about adaptations owls have as we start to learn about structures and functions of organisms. As part of the learning, students dissected owl pellets and attempted to identify the organisms owls ate. It was such a fun immersive learning experience!
