Dear REMS Families,

On November 7th, the polls open for Douglas County.  Please continue to educate yourselves on the importance of the upcoming election and the proposals for 5A and 5B.  If passed, both of these initiatives can have tremendous impacts on the future funding for Renaissance and the larger Douglas County community.  I encourage you to review the arguments both for and against the Bond and Mill Levy Override. You may find funding resources on the DCSD website. We appreciate your continued support in learning about essential school funding and how it impacts our community.

With kind regards,

NEW! News from our Crews:

Our 4th-6th graders enjoyed a meet and greet with author, Stephan Pastis.

1st grade enjoyed a popsicle party to celebrate their hard work during RAD week.

NEW!  Note from SAC:

SAC joins the support of 5A & 5B
Our SAC, School Accountability Committee, signed a joint resolution (with district staff abstaining) to support both 5A (MLO) and 5B (Bond), DCSD's funding initiatives on this November's ballot. This reflects SAC's stance: If we want less teacher-turnover, and if we want to keep our quality teachers and excellent programming, then it is essential that these measures get passed. Our REMS teachers and staff are valuable.
You can visit our district's website for factual information. And you can visit Invest in DCSD, for ways to support the cause.

NEW! News from our Parent Crew:
