NEW! News From Our Crews:
Notes from Ms. Trena
Congratulations to Ms. Monica, our School Counselor, who received The DCSD Essential Level Programming award for the ASCA National Model for our Counseling Program! Her hard work in planning career and college readiness, and supporting the social and emotional needs of our students has been recognized by the school district. We absolutely appreciate Ms. Monica's efforts to provide wrap-around support for our crews!
Ms. Madi's 1st grade crew presented at The Beat this week! They shared handwritten poetry on what our Crew Core Values mean to each of them. What an awe-inspiring presentation from our little poet laureates!
Kindie went on their first voyage! Our independent kindergartners did so well and we are so proud of them!
A Note from D5/6:
Do you eat oatmeal? Our D5/6 class needs your help! Ms. Sarah's crew is looking for empty oatmeal canisters for a science project. If you have one (or more) please bring it to the front office Monday, May 22nd. Thank you, crew!

Showcase Volunteers Needed: May 24th.
What is Showcase? Our 3rd and 6th-grade crews have the opportunity to share their learning experiences with a panel of Staff/Parent Volunteers. This is a huge celebration for our students and a fantastic opportunity for you to get a look at the growth that takes place during their journey at REMS. Don't worry if you haven't done it before, you will be paired up with a staff member who can help you walk through the process and support these kiddos in sharing their stories. It is a fun, crew/community building opportunity that you do not want to miss out on! 2nd and 5th grade parents are especially encouraged to volunteer so you can see what your kids will be doing next year. Please sign up to help!!! SPRING SHOWCASES
