NEW! News from Our Crews:

This week in fourth grade students worked on building salt dough maps!

NEW! Note from Ms. Trena:

You are cordially invited to attend and serve as a panelist or volunteer for
Renaissance's Annual Student Showcase of Learning

WHAT?: Every spring, our third and sixth grade students present their Showcase of Learning to an adult panel. This is an opportunity for students to:

  • Reflect on self as a learner and present that in an authentic setting.

  • Share learning; celebrate growth.

  • To improve metacognitive thinking and build community.

  • To celebrate life; gain experience in building confidence in presenting to others.

  • Challenge students to exercise self-awareness as it relates to themselves as a learner.

  • Personal presentation of important learning that will transfer to life.

  • Sharing our learning with the community in a way that puts kids in a leadership role.

  • Demonstrate their learning with creativity and passions.

WHY?: Students reflect upon their learning journeys during their educational experiences at REMS. They will discuss three major areas in their Showcase of Learning:  Learning with Passion, Acting with Courage, and Changing the World.

WHEN?: May 11- Third grade presentations  from 1:15-4pm.
May 25- Sixth grade presentations from 1:15-4pm.

We would love for you to join us as a community panelist or volunteer on either of those days in an effort to celebrate our students' accomplishments!
Please feel free to use the Sign-up Genius to commit to a spot! We will be reaching out to those who volunteer on next steps.

Thank you for your time and consideration in supporting the achievements of the students at REMS!

With gratitude,

Trena L. Hand
Proud Principal

We are looking forward to all the great activities our Crews are putting together for this cause, and thank you for your generosity! Donate HERE.

NEW! Community Involvement Opportunities!:
Registration is now open for Stone Canyon Summer Camp! Both Overnight and Day Camps are accepting registrants.

Stone Canyon offers a wide variety of activities, and our dedicated staff is committed to ensuring your camper will learn new skills, make new friends, and be safe while at camp. Our goal is to create a community that will help campers become more confident and daring individuals, all while having the best time of their lives!

In the last year and a half, Stone Canyon has built a brand new ropes course and completed an expansion of our dining hall and kitchen. We are so excited for campers to experience them this summer. While we have made adjustments to our programming to follow national and local COVID mitigation guidelines, we aim to provide the same connection and adventure that make our summer camp special.
